Now is KLN time! When first conceived by Steve Christian and Eka Wiharto in 2003, the goal was to build an internet technology company that would change the media content industry in Indonesia. As mobile phone users began reaching critical mass in Indonesia, KapanLagi.com seized the opportunity to provide entertainment content for these individuals. From its humble beginning as a five-person team consisting of mostly engineers, KapanLagi.com has grown to become one of the largest homegrown Internet companies in Indonesia with 500+ employees today. Along the way, new verticals were created including Bola.net (for sports enthusiasts), Vemale.com (devoted to topics of interest to women), Otosia.com (for automotive fans), and Merdeka.com (our flagship general news site).
