Karen Roses Limited

Karen Roses Limited opened its doors to commercial cut flower farming in 1989 and was the first farm in Kenya to grow roses under steel greenhouses. Its is a family owned but professionally run company which proudly owns 6 farms located in two counties with over 90 HA in production. The first farm is located in Nairobi (Kenyas capital) and 5 in Eldama Ravine, Baringo Central County, a rural town approximately 200 km from Nairobi that lies on the Equator at approximately 2,100 meters above sea level. Our processes and systems have been built over the last 30 years and include world class cool chain and quality management systems as is evidenced by the various accreditation we continue to hold, FAIRTRADE, Global GAP, GRASP MPS A, MPS SQ, Leaf and BOPP. Europe still remains our main market with important trading partners in the United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands.
