Kaunas Biennial

Kaunas Biennial is organized since 1997. Every event of the biennial is created from scratch, i.e. by changing the structure, the conditions of participation, the character of exhibitions, the conception, also by involving [new] partners, curators, artists and people working in different areas of culture for a common purpose: communication through the expression of art and creative processes. Since 2017 Kaunas Biennial is the leading organisation for the Creative Europe Platform project MAGIC CARPETS, which unites 15 organisations, based in 15 different European Union and candidate countries. Kaunas Biennial is delighted to announce the appointment of Josee Drouin-Brisebois as Curator for the 13th Kaunas Biennial, which will take place on 5 November 2021 30 January 2022.
