An iconic family owned winery residing in McLaren Vale South Australia, we are the oldest winery in the district that remains in the ownership of the founding family. We make wines from predominantly our own grapes and have an enviable reputation for exceptional quality. As a small producer of ultra-premium wines our products are sold to discerning customers through our cellar door and wine club and selected retail outlets and eateries both in Australia and selected export markets. We are proud custodians of our heritage listed buildings, many built in our foundation years by Herbert and Frederick Kay, and also the Amery vineyard. Our pride and joy is Block 6, shiraz vines planted in 1892 (some of the oldest in the district) that makes the famous Block 6 Shiraz. We use traditional wine making methods and are members of Sustainable Winegrowing Australia
