Kayec Youth Development Program

KAYEC is a Namibian non-governmental organization dedicated to empowering young people across the country. Our mission is to help young people take charge of their own lives and contribute to the development of their communities. We achieve this through a range of youth development programs, including our KAYEC Youth Development (KYD) after-school centers. At our KYD after-school centers, we provide children aged 10-16 with a safe and supportive environment where they can improve their academic skills, participate in interactive life-skills sessions, and receive homework support. Our centers also offer one-on-one tutoring, small group teachings for grades 1-3, and online/e-learning support. In addition, we organize regional and national competitions and provide opportunities for children to advocate for current issues affecting children and youth in society.
