Keetmanshoop Municipality

Since its establishment in 1866, Keetmanshoop has grown to become the largest urban centre and administrative capital of southern Namibia. Located in the centre of the //Karas region. Keetmanshoop is a major commercial, transportation, and logistical hub, offering access to the TransNamib rail system, the Keetmanshoop airport, and Namibias extensive highway network. Keetmanshoop is also the gateway to Namibias southern ports and major trade partner, South Africa. Keetmanshoop is named after Johann Keetmann , a German Industrialist. Now widely acknowledged as the administrative capital of southern Namibia, Keetmanshoop is attracting significant interest from the private and public investor.
