Kenosha County Sheriffs Department

Kenosha County, with a population of approximately 150,000, is tucked into the southeast corner of Wisconsin. Kenosha County is bordered on the east by Lake Michigan and is situated on the Illinois Stateline, centralized directly between Chicago, IL, and Milwaukee, WI making it a prime location for visitors and major events. The Kenosha County Sheriffs Department (KSD) is a full-service law enforcement agency composed of 136 sworn members, from deputies up to the Sheriff, and 173 correctional professionals. In total, KSD employs over 375 people, including administrative and clerical assistants, and other support staff. Deputies patrol the county and respond to a variety of calls for service. Deputy Sheriffs are utilized for civil process, School Resource Officers, Deputy Friendly, and the conveyance of inmates.
