Kenya Transporters Association Ltd

The Kenya Transporters Association Ltd, KTA, is an association of road transporters in Kenya whose broad objectives are to instil safety, discipline and professionalism in the trucking industry and to provide a single, authoritative voice on issues of importance regarding national priorities for road transport. KTA Ltd was formed in 1969 as The Kenya African Road Transport Association (KARTA) and later renamed the Kenya Transport Association (KTA) in 1982. In the year 2011, KTA was transformed into a limited company by guarantee KTAs vision is to be a model professional association upholding ethics and integrity in road transport industry and to give transporters a forum within which they can interact with the various ministries within the Kenya Government. KTA also seeks to promote growth, development and cooperation of the industry while advancing professionalism, ethics and integrity among the transporters
