In 1915, the first Kimbrells Furniture opened in downtown Columbia, SC. Surviving both the Great Depression and World War II, Kimbrells began growing to the company it is today starting in 1946. By 1990, there were fifty retail stores with a central warehouse distribution facility and a general accounting and service office. The current team continues to adhere to the proven policies established by the Kimbrell family. In October of 2022, Kimbrells celebrated 107 years of business
