At Klein Roosboom the elements combine in perfect harmony to create the enviable conditions that make our wines so special. Our unique terroir allows each grape variety to be grown in the locale climatic conditions that suite it best. Our South facing slopes are suited to Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. Our wines happily lodge their roots into rich Hutton, Oakleaf and Clovely soils, extracting nourishment from the earth. Klein Roosboom is also home to Jean Restaurant. Executive Chef, Lorianne Heyns loves to cook outside of the barbed wires to spoil guests with a seasonal menu that constantly changes. As the fresh Atlantic breeze cools our vineyards, the crisp Cape air shapes the flavours of the grapes, and in turn, the quality of our wines.
