Konny was founded in 2017 by Erin Lim (CEO) and her husband. The couple did not initially set out to create a business. Just a month after having her first child, Erin was diagnosed with a reherniation of a cervical bulging disk that caused indescribable pain that made it all but impossible to carry her son. In an effort to ease the pain, she tried out no less than ten different types of baby carriers on the market before quickly realizing that there was not a single product that allowed her to carry her son for long periods comfortably and without pain. As she lamented the fact that she could not find a single carrier that she loved, her husband challenged her, Why dont you try making one yourself? The one youd love. If you love it, others will too. Never one to back down from a challenge, Erin took her husbands question to heart and that is how Konny was born.
