Koperasi KASIH Indonesia

Koperasi KASIH Indonesia (KKI) is a social business that aims to empower poor families to exit poverty and never return. We are doing this by empowering our members through an integrated support of micro-loans, micro-savings and training on motivation and mindset. By the end of 2015, KKI have 46 employees and 7,994 active members. Since its inception in 2011, it has reached >13,000 beneficiaries, manages savings of > IDR 8 billion, disbursed loans of > IDR 34 billion and delivered >2,500 training sessions. KKIs story has been exposed by >35 media and shared in >50 forums locally and internationally. It has also drawn visitors from institutions like Harvard Business School, Wharton Business School and World Bank. In Dec 2014, it was awarded E&Y Indonesia Social Entrepreneur of The Year 2014 - one of the youngest institutions to ever receive that award at that time.
