Korea Student Aid Foundation(KOSAF)

The Korea Student Aid Foundation was established by Korean law in the Act on the Establishment of the Korea Student Aid Foundation on May 2009. Working closely with the Ministry of Education, the foundation executes government-supported assistance for students in post-secondary education. The foundation was established with the following aim: creating and operating a national system in which any person with sufficient qualifications and abilities for higher education, whatever his or her financial means, has the opportunity to study. Annually, the foundation provides students at universities and colleges with financial assistance primarily though loans, grants and scholarships.
