KS Energy is a power generation and asset management company established in Botswana in 2008 by TUTEN, a power project development services company based in Istanbul, Turkey. KS Energy has been appointed by the Botswana Power Corporation as Asset Manager for a 90MW dual fuel gas/diesel power plant that entered commercial operation at the Orapa diamond mine 15Aug11. KS Energy is responsible for all aspects of O&M including insurance and fuel quality management. KS Energy has a multinational team of experts manning the plant with demonstrated plant availability over 98.5%. KS Energy offers full 3rd party O&M services throughout Africa. In 2014 KS Energy signed contracts to serve as construction Project Managers on behalf of an IPP in Nigeria for a 3x GE LM2500+ 75MW simple cycle gas turbine power plant that was built and commissioned in Port Harcourt River State, and a 3x SIEMENS SGT500 simple cycle gas turbine power plant currently being built for BUA Cement in Okpella, Edo State ...
