Architecture is a discipline that engages knowledge, imagination, ingenuity and worldview of those creating it. Not all designs developed have a chance to be executed, and not all of them are created to be executed, either; however, those that get to fully materialise are also the emanation of the personality of people who must be able to safely navigate through the troubled waters of problems, consents from authorities and unforeseeable circumstances while retaining the major characteristics that are the essence of the building designed and its architecture. Such a team is not built in one day. In our studio, it was built by Prof. Stefan Kurylowicz (1949 2011) with participation of Prof. Ewa Kurylowicz, both actively involved, in parallel, in teaching architectural design, and in design work and architectural execution.
