La Escuelita Arcoiris is Pittsburghs oldest Spanish Immersion preschool with a focus on incorporating nature based educational experiences year-round for children ages 18 months through kindergarten. It all began in September of 1999 in the home of founder Megan Rooney, M.Ed. Her goal was to share with her community the benefits of second-language learning at an early age.
