History and Background of the Institution The La Fortuna College is a realization of the Espinoza familys social commitment to educate youth. Truly religious and deeply concerned with the fullest development of the Novo Ecijanos, Fortunata and Manolo Espinoza Sr. spearheaded the conceptualization of that dream to their passing away. The Espinoza family led by Madam Carmelita caught the fire of the whole clans dedication to uplift the socio-economic, conditions of students through the provision on quality education and training. With its modern multi-million complex, La Fortuna College, which was named after Fortunata Espinoza was finally established at Cabanatuan City in 1995. Its portals were opened to students of Nueva Ecija and neighboring provinces on June 5, that same year.
