La Fresque des Nouveaux Recits

Current societal disruptions call a deep change in our behaviours. This will not happen without a cultural change, new narratives and new stories supporting a desirable future. Founded in 2020, the New Narratives Collage aims to raise a future compatible with planetary boundaries and desirable for everyone, by facilitating the adoption of sustainable behaviours thanks to the imagination of new narratives. Through the exploration of the power of new narratives at an individual or organisational scale, the 3-hour collective workshop is divided in two parts : 1. The first part helps understanding the lack of action on transition topics, based on a vast bibliography of resources on human and social sciences, and how new narratives can spark active hope. 2. The second part is inspired by Utopic Fiction, consisting in writting collectively, stories showing how obsolete narratives could change, for a better future.
