La Lucciola Restaurant

La Lucciola Restaurant started operations in 1993 at the current beachside location in Petitenget, Bali, adjacent to Petitenget Temple (one of the 6 most important Balinese Directional Temples). At this time the area was still predominantly ricefields, the Oberoi Hotel marking the end of the development leading north along the famous Kuta Beach. The Australian owners decided on a traditional approach to the design of the restaurant, a design that has endured the test of time and the dramatic weather conditions that Bali experiences during the monsoon season.
