Founded in 2013, Laadliyan, Celebrating & Empowering Daughters is a non-profit organization in the Greater Toronto Area, promoting gender equity and girls and womens empowerment in the South Asian Community. As daughters who are familiar with the impacts gender inequality can have on young girls, we want to ensure our younger sisters in the community grow up feeling wanted, confident and independent. We are determined to provide South Asian females with positive experiences by fostering strong relationships and alliances.
