Laboratorio de Processamento de Sinais - UFRJ

Created in 1996 at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), the Signal Processing Laboratory gathers a group of internationally recognized researchers, working actively in consulting services for the industry as well as in academic research and education, at both graduate level at COPPE/UFRJ and undergraduate level at Polytechnic school (Poli-UFRJ). The LPS currently congregates 2 professors and 9 associate professors all in full time, 4 post-doctoral researchers, 85 graduate and 70 undergraduate students. The activities carried out in LPS cover a variety of purposes, with main focus on education in Electrical Engineering, consulting services for the industry, and knowledge dissemination related to modern signal processing, both in Brazil and abroad.
