We initially worked to identify the primary issues restricting education of girls in India. One of the reasons was the lack of infrastructure, to combat this we have conducted book drives in collaboration with ITC Limited, raising over 1000 books. Another key issue we identified was a lack of menstrual products. For this we work on fundraising for reusable pads, and then donating and conducting menstrual awareness sessions. We also work towards equipping women with self defense skills, and we have conducted workshops, with black belt trained professionals, in major areas including our school TISB, and Christ university. We have many more events like these, including financial literacy, higher education planning, soft skills training programs, and more initiatives that aim to increase the opportunity for women in education and the workforce.
