LAK Locums is based in Leeds and has nationwide coverage. Our core business is working with both Doctors and GPs placing them into suitable work with the NHS or PCTs. The locums could be weekend, ad hoc shifts or covering a vacant post which could be for a year or even longer. More recently LAK Locums have been invited to work with different NHS models creating new opportunities for our staff. Our team work with PWC (Staff Flow) and various Managed Services and we also support some of the larger Agencies with their master vends. We are able to offer our Doctors and GPs the opportunity to work in a wider range of Trusts whilst still remaining an independent Agency. This is reassuring for both the Trust and Doctors, as both know exactly for whom they are working. The NHS is constantly changing and we need to be flexible in our approach to meet the needs of the Trusts.
