Lamerd Cement Plant is the largest cement producing factory in Fars province and one of the greatest cement producing units that is located 380km far from thecapital of the province, in Lamerd city. The construction of this great project in Lamerd deprived area began in 2005through investments by the private sector. In 2012 after the construction, installation, pre-commissioning and connection to the natural gas pipeline with nominal production capacity of 3800 ton clinker per day. Taking the advantage of the worlds most updated technologies as well as the last international standards and ISOs, this company is considered to be one of the largest industrial units that has been able, through accurate planning and appropriate policies, not only to produce 1200000 ton per year which is more than its capacity but also have an active presence in order to take steps for improving its products.
