Lampre is synonymous with pre-coated steel. The name itself derives from the abbreviation of LAMiere (Steel in Italian) and PREcoated, and indicates an industrial idea dedicated to continuous coating of hot-rolled steel. Since the 1990s Lampre began its internationalization strategy aimed to get closer to local needs and to contain transport costs. The new production plant of Lampre Polska brings to seven the total number of lines, of which four are in Lampre Italy, one in Lampre Portuguesa and one in Lampre Benelux. The opening of Lampre Turcelik, the Turkish service center, and of Lampre USA, hub of distribution for North America, improve our ability to interpret the needs of a market in constant evolution.
