Landcare Tasmania

Landcare Tasmania is the peak body that works to represent, support, strengthen and grow Tasmanias community Landcare. This community works on the ground to improve the health of our natural and working environments and is represented by Landcarers all across the state. Landcares approach to environment and sustainability issues is bottom-up, with the community taking ownership of the problem and being actively involved in the solutions. The work of our members includes eradicating invasive weeds, revegetating bushland, managing farms to improve sustainability, controlling erosion, cleaning up beaches, caring for wildlife, and much more. We deliver a range of core functions and vital services that support the work of our members including distributing grants for on ground projects, providing cost effective group insurance, and representing the interests of our members to all levels of government.
