LANGUAGE FOR FUN LTD

Language for Fun was created when Jessica realised that traditional teaching methods in adult education werent supporting adults to speak foreign languages confidently. At the time, she was teaching in an FE college, and in a Primary School and studying for a PGCE in adult education. She realised that many of the interactive techniques that the children enjoyed could be adapted for adult pupils and decided to trial a language course for adults where the focus was on fun and conversation, rather than results and written work. In 2007 Jessica created French for Fun and held her first classes in Newcastle-under-Lyme. She refined a regular weekly format that covered all of the essential elements of a language class. The classes are built around a series of conversations, so everyone gets up and talks in every lesson at the same time.
