Lao Brewery Co. Ltd. was founded in 1973 as a joint-venture between foreign investors and Lao businessmen. After several changes in ownership structure, until 2005 the Company has become a joint venture between the Lao government and Carlsberg Breweries, each holds a 50% share. Since its foundation in 1973 the company has spent the last 35 years growing and developing, it now has an annual production capacity of 210 million liters of beer and 21 million liters of drinking water. It is now the innovative leader of beer and beverage products in Lao PDR. Lao Brewery Co. Ltd. focuses on two main factors to upgrade the production capacity, namely human resources and beer technology. The Company considers its production process to be an art and takes full responsibility at each stage.
