LARC Lansing

LARC is a private, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3), community-service organization that serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ensuring they can live a quality and engaging life by participating as contributing members of their community. Originally formed in 1956, as a school for children with developmental disabilities (The Lansing School of Special Education), LARC has grown to provide services and supports to approximately 100 individuals across the Chicagoland Area. Supports include service facilitation, community day services, choice-driven classroom & recreational activities, job training & placement, and community-integrated living arrangements for 44 individuals in single-family group homes throughout the community.
