Lassonde Engineering Society

The Lassonde Engineering Society (LES) is a student run organization that represents engineering undergraduates at the Lassonde School of Engineering, York University. LES is run by a student-elected Board of Directors that consists of 6 Executives, 7 Program Reps, and 4 First Year Representatives. We also operate various committees that are integral in carrying out LES initiatives. At LES, our mission is to provide services, events and opportunities that enrich the Lassonde undergraduate engineering experience, as well as advocate on behalf of the student population to the faculty, school and our external partners. Throughout the year, we host various academic, social and professional development events. Our events portfolio ranges from pub nights, to the largest engineering competition in Canada, the York Engineering Competition.
