Laura Jeffrey Academy, also known as LJA, is a tuition-free public middle school in St. Paul, MN. The Mac-Groveland neighborhood is ranked number one in the state and 47th nationally as one of the best places to live. Our inclusive learning environment is open to all students in grades 5-8 and scholars are encouraged to explore their potential, discover their brilliance and develop their intellect. They thrive through cooperative learning, STEM-focused courses and hands-on projects. We are an LGBTQ-friendly middle school and support cultural diversity and inclusion in all aspects of school life.
