The Laurel Volunteer Rescue Squad (LVRS) provides prompt, effective Emergency Services with the highest degree of professionalism, integrity and commitment. We strive to enhance the safety of our community through progressive leadership, informative public education and continuous quality improvement. We value the commitment and diversity of our membership, and effective integration with our public safety colleagues. Laurel Volunteer Rescue Squad is a private, nonprofit corporation that has been providing medical, rescue and fire services to the citizens of the Greater Laurel area for over 65 years. Since our founding in 1952, we have served not only the City of Laurel, but parts of four counties in central Maryland as well.
