The purpose of Laurier Fintech is to foster a community for individuals passionate about financial technologies. We aim to empower students by offering access to networking opportunities, and resources, including courses, fintech newsletters, and informative posts. Through OpenFintech, our open-source program, we promote the development of financial technologies in the academic space. Furthermore, we encourage students to explore and develop practical skills through challenges and hackathons. Above all, we strive to create a community that inspires collaboration and growth within the fintech industry
