Layered Reality was founded in 2017 by Andrew McGuinness. It started with the idea of using the latest digital, theatrical and physical techniques to transport experience seekers into another world. The first experience, SOMNAI, launched in London in March 2018 to widespread praise for its innovation. It is now featured in Digital Catapults Immersive Hall of Fame.
