The LWV of Maryland coordinates voter education activities throughout the state of Maryland, providing workshops, public forums and lectures, and activities. In election years, LWVMD produces Voters Guides and sponsors candidate forums. Many counties have Leagues that do the same at the local level. LWVMD is affiliated with the LWV of the United States
