LEAM Drilling Services

LEAM Drilling Systems, Inc. was formed in 1980 with its initial base of operations in New Iberia, Louisiana. In 1986 LEAM expanded its directional services to the Permian Basin by acquiring Directional Investment Guidance, Inc., a directional drilling company located in Midland, Texas. In 1990, LEAM opened an office in Houston, Texas, and began offering horizontal drilling services. LEAM later expanded operations by opening offices in 1997 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In 2001, LEAM entered into the MWD market by acquiring MWD Management, Inc. LEAM has established a reputation for technical expertise in well planning and the implementation of directional and horizontal drilling programs.
