The Lee Construction Group, Inc. traces its roots back to back to 1939, evolving from a highly skilled father and son team, who built and restored fine and historic homes across Central Virginia under the name R. E. Lee & Son, Inc., to a group of independent businesses engaged in the commercial building construction industry. Our businesses provide the full life cycle of building services. Our independent businesses are organized as a Prime Group and a Trade Group. The Prime Group (Piedmont Development Group, Lee Building Company, Lee Town & Country Homes, and Piedmont Facilities Management) all serve building owners and developers directly. The Trade Group (Piedmont Concrete Contractors, Piedmont Plaster & Drywall, and Piedmont Waterproofing Contractors) serves general contractors and construction managers.
