LeftLion Magazine Nottingham

We formed LeftLion in 2003 as a collective of journalists, photographers, illustrators, designers and web developers who felt that no-one was giving Nottingham the media coverage it deserved. LeftLion magazine quickly became the de facto alternative media outlet of choice in Nottingham. Unlike the competition - who often rely on syndicated copy - we generate 100% original articles about our city and its people. We do this in both printed and online formats. Our team now consists of more than 200 of the regions best writers, photographers, illustrators and designers - who usually create work for the BBC, The Guardian, Channel 4, The Daily Mirror, Cosmopolitan, Maxim, Nike, Pepsi Cola and Paul Smith. But we do far more than just run a magazine and website. Weve hosted music, art and spoken word events.
