The LeidenAsiaCentre is The Netherlands expertise centre for socially relevant and applicable knowledge on modern East-, South- and Southeast-Asia. LeidenAsiaCentre aims to raise the level of knowledge and awareness of developments in the region. LAC conducts academic research for our stakeholders in government, NGOs and business. LAC also organizes regular public events for a wider audience, including media. LAC actively aims to expand its expertise and to use this in collaboration with a growing number of diverse societal partners.
