The modest boilermaking-sheet metal-body company founded in 1933 by Leopold Lenzi leaned towards public lighting 20 years later on the occasion of the great restoration of sites and monuments of Paris. Holder of restoration market of old lanterns choosen by historic sites commission, the company had to manufacture quickly complete sets of lighting. These installations had an immediate success. Champs-Elysees, Opera avenue, Rivolis street, butte Montmartre, Concordes square, Maraiss square, Royal palace, etc. At first, a profitable collaboration had been established with the Beaux-Arts administration and EDF. This collaboration determined the first elements of a lights range which became famous.
