On June 14th 1970, LETO Maternity hospital is created with the vision to establish a model Unit of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, with a humanitarian approach which would enable Greek women to find the right diagnosis, treatment and comfort in one of the most organized hospitals in the country. The initiators, a team of renowned obstetricians-gynaecologists, managed to create a modern nursing unit, which was to be the perfect tool for providing high-quality care to the woman, mother and newborn. Over the years many young obstetricians-gynaecologists joined LETO Maternity Hospital giving the scientific freshness and renewal both of its medical personnel or medical procedures and protocols of the Clinic.
