Lewisburg Area High School

Lewisburg Area High School has approximately 630 students and 44 professional staff members, serving grades 9 through 12. The academic program offers an impressive array of courses including eighteen AP classes and several electives. Lewisburg Area High School has a history of academic excellence, with SAT rankings placing them in the top 50 high schools in the state for the 11th year in a row. In December 2017, a new state-of-the-art high school was opened on Newman Road, providing students access to even more opportunities and the best possible learning environment to prepare them for the future. Technical education is offered at SUN Area Technology Institute, which is regarded as one of the states best career centers. Music programs include band, choir, and orchestra with several ensemble groups. A fall play and spring musical are annual highlights.
