LIFE Theological Seminary, Ikorodu, Lagos

LIFE Theological Seminary, Nigeria (formerly LIFE Bible College) is named after LIFE Bible College, Los Angeles established in 1923 with its initials: L.I.F.E representing Lighthouse of International Foursquare Evangelism. It was founded in 1955 by the Rev. & Rev. Mrs. Harold Curtis, missionaries of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel with Headquarters in Los Angeles, California. The Curtis had experienced the revival associated with the ministry of Aimee Semple McPherson, the founder of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel. Having become Foursquare Ministers, they resolved to assist in the spreading of the gospel and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit to Nigeria and beyond.
