Light House

Light House is a well-reputed non-profit voluntary development organization working for the development of rural and urban assets less poor, marginalized and high-risk population particularly the landless, homeless, sex workers, drug users both injecting and heroin smokers, men who have sex with men (MSM) and Hijra with transgender, distressed, school dropouts, child labour, Adibashi and other disadvantaged adults and children in Bangladesh. It is a leading Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Bangladesh that was founded in 1988 following a devastating and gigantic flood. Feeling concerned, a group of young and energetic men joined together to work for the flood victims. One of those members, Md Harun-or-Rashid is now the Chief Executive of Light House.
