With our roots firmly planted in classic 2D animation, Lightstar Studios was founded in 2004 by a group of talented artists from around the world, united by a passion for this form of entertainment. Together, we bring many years of professional experience working on numerous feature films, various TV series, commercials, and corporate projects. Over the years, Lightstar has been involved in numerous international productions, including co-productions and partnerships with channels such as Nickelodeon, Globosat, Cartoon Network, Discovery Kids, Cartoon Saloon, and Xilam. Weve provided services for two Oscar nominations, won the Annecy Cristal Award, and received an Emmy Awards nomination for our own TV program, SOS Fairy Manu, in 2016.
