L K Singhania Education Centre is dedicated to Late Lala Kamlapat Singhania, who was a man with a vision, a pioneer industrialist, an educationist and a philanthropist. Initially the centre was started in 1984 with an aim to provide education to the children of J K White Cement employees. The social commitment of the J K Organization meant that the school soon should be expanded to provide quality education to the children of one and all with a non-profit motive. Since then the school has grown from strength to strength in every sphere of education. The prominent transformational phase in its history came in 1987 when the centre started providing boarding facilities to students from all over India and abroad.
