Local Practice Architecture + Design Ltd. is a regenerative design practice comprised of architects, strategists, artists, sustainability experts, cyclists, apiarists, and relentless optimists all united in the goal of realizing projects that improve the health and resiliency of their local communities. Founded in 2015 through a merger of two architectural practices (each founded in 2009), the firm is privately owned by architects Matthew Woodruff and Michel Labrie and has a staff of 15. Based in Vancouver, BC, on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, our focus is on sustainable building design and infrastructure in the public realm.
