The proud history of the Lockhart Automotive Group originated with its founder, Freda L. Lockhart. Mrs. Lockhart became Cadillacs first exclusive female dealer in the United States in January, 1972. Mrs. Lockharts son Marc Lockhart joined the business in 1974 and her daughter, Lynn Kimmel joined in 1975. Marc Lockhart is the dealer principal of Lockhart Cadillac and directs the daily operation of Lockhart Cadillac North on Keystone Avenue and Lockhart Cadillac South in Greenwood. Marc has been named Dealer of the Year, an honor that General Motors only bestows on the most elite in the automotive business. Marc is also the former president of the Indiana Auto Dealers Association. Lynn Kimmel directs the daily operations of LOCKHART PREFERRED PRE-OWNED, a full service department, parts department and used car dealership in Fishers.
