Lodi Volunteer Ambulance Rescue Squad has been proudly serving the community for over 55 years. This organization was started in 1962 by a determined group of young men who saw the need for emergency medicine for the citizens of Lodi, NJ. The Ambulance Corp began service with 8 members and 1 Oldsmobile Ambulance. Over the years we have adapted and have been involved numerous emergencies including the Napp Chemical Explosion, numerous flood details, and more recently on the 9-11 attacks.
