LPGas Association of South Africa

Established in 1987 and based in Johannesburg, the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Association of South Africa (LPGSA) is a non-profit company (NPC) that represents companies that are involved in the installation, distribution, hardware, and retailing of LP Gas and gas appliances. As the industry body, we are dedicated to the safe use of LP Gas, everywhere in South Africa in domestic, commercial, and industrial applications as well as many other industries. The LPGSSA works very closely with the various Government Departments including but not limited to, the Department of Labour, Department of Energy, the South Africa Bureau of Standards (SABS), and the various Fire Departments in the control and approval of all LP Gas sites, SABS National Standards and the Codes and Practices as they pertain to the industry.
